Heading north. Morning in Exeter NH, where I spent time with my younger self (see attached, number 43). I photographed this lacrosse team portrait that hangs on the gym wall.
I walked the campus of my former school and visited Phillips Hall, where Al Vrooman taught English and emphasized a point about Shakespeare or Harper Lee by holding up his middle finger. Dirty Al, we called him. It was warm and sunny, people were friendly, and revisiting myself was a pleasant thing.
Lunch at the Miss Wiss in Maine. Grilled cheese sandwich and chili. Yummy. Lincolnville Beach next stop. Hope all is well.
